EVA AI Launches First Real-Time AI Antivirus for Web3 to Block On-Chain Threats

Sentinel privacy policy

Introduction

VA TECHNOLOGIES, Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy and security of users of our EVA Sentinel browser extension ("EVA Sentinel"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information through EVA Sentinel, which provides Web3 threat protection and privacy-focused VPN capabilities.

Our goal is to foster a secure, private browsing experience powered by community-driven threat intelligence, smart contract analysis, and safe VPN routing.

Information We Collect

When you install and use EVA Sentinel, we collect the following information:

  • Email Address: Collected securely via Google Sign-In (OAuth) for authentication. Passwords or sensitive credentials are never collected.
  • Last Access Date: Recorded to manage session activity and improve service reliability.
  • User Reports: You may voluntarily report suspicious or trusted websites. These reports are anonymized and shared for community safety.
  • VPN Connection Metadata: If you use the VPN feature, we may collect minimal traffic logs, including:
  • Source IP address (temporary and anonymized where possible)
  • Assigned proxy IP and selected server country
  • Connection timestamps and duration
  • Domain names or URLs accessed (but not page content)
  • Domain names or URLs accessed (but not page content)

We do not log full browsing history, HTTPS content, keystrokes, wallet keys, or private messages.

Purpose and Use of Collected Information

We use the collected data for:

  • Securing user accounts and managing authentication
  • Delivering accurate threat detection and proactive security warnings
  • Improving the performance of EVA Sentinel and the VPN network
  • Monitoring abuse or misuse of the VPN feature (e.g., spam, botnets)
  • Generating aggregate usage reports (never tied to individual identities)

Traffic logs are stored for a limited time (e.g., 7–30 days) and are not used for advertising or profiling.

Acceptable Use and Abuse Prevention

EVA Sentinel is intended solely for lawful, ethical, and legitimate purposes. By using our services, including the VPN functionality, you agree not to:

  • Use the extension to engage in illegal activities, including but not limited to hacking, phishing, fraud, or distributing malware.
  • Circumvent or interfere with the extension's protective security features.
  • Use the VPN to mask malicious activity or access restricted or illegal content under applicable laws.
  • Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in websites, smart contracts, or blockchain networks using EVA Sentinel.

To protect our platform and its users, EVA TECHNOLOGIES reserves the right to monitor VPN connection metadata and take appropriate action — including temporary suspension or permanent blocking of accounts or connections — if abuse or criminal misuse is detected.

We fully cooperate with legal authorities when legally required and will comply with valid court orders or law enforcement requests, strictly within the scope of applicable laws and user rights.

VPN Functionality and Traffic Logs

The EVA Sentinel VPN routes browser traffic through secure proxy servers managed by EVA TECHNOLOGIES or trusted infrastructure providers.

VPN privacy practices:

  • No payload inspection: We do not monitor or store the contents of encrypted (HTTPS) traffic.
  • Limited traffic logging: Metadata such as IP, timestamp, and domains may be logged temporarily to enforce fair use and prevent abuse.
  • Data minimization: Logs are retained only as necessary for operational or legal compliance and are deleted automatically after the retention period.

We aim to strike a balance between privacy and responsible service operation.

Data Sharing, Disclosure, and Security

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Anonymized community reports may be published to help improve Web3 safety. VPN logs are used internally and only disclosed if required by law (e.g., valid subpoena or legal order).

We use HTTPS, strong encryption, and access controls to secure all transmitted and stored data.

User Activity and Interaction Monitoring

EVA Sentinel may observe interactions such as clicks or cursor movement within the extension interface to provide real-time security responses. This data is processed locally and not stored, logged, or transmitted externally.

We do not record keystrokes, clipboard content, or sensitive on-page activity.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

EVA Sentinel does not use cookies or fingerprinting to track users. Essential anonymous metrics may be collected to measure performance and improve the extension experience.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country, including the United States or the EU. All processing follows applicable international data protection regulations and includes appropriate safeguards.

Your Rights and Control Over Your Data (GDPR/CCPA)

If you are a resident of the European Union or California, you have rights to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify incorrect or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict or object to specific processing
  • Export or transfer your personal data

To exercise your rights, contact us at evaaiteam@gmail.com.

Backend Services and API Usage

All smart contract and JavaScript analysis is performed via secure API calls to EVA TECHNOLOGIES' infrastructure. These systems do not transmit or store personally identifiable information, and operate in strict compliance with data protection policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this policy periodically to reflect new features, legal requirements, or service updates. Updates will be posted here along with the effective date. Continued use of EVA Sentinel after changes means you accept the revised policy.
